the H E R D uses Ventrilo for voice communications, generously donated by Maudit.

Check the in-game Guild Information tab for IP connection information, and you can download the Ventrilo
for free from http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php - Mac and PC versions are available.

All members are invited to "hang out" on the voice chat server while playing, and the server itself offers different rooms for when you are questing or in an instance and wish to have a more private conversation.

Some of us find it a big improvement when in a dungeon, to be able to speak instructions instead of typing them all out, so if you're coming out with those of us who use vent regularly, please consider connecting at least to listen.

That having been said, Vent is not a guild requirement.

Welcome to the new website for the casual Zul'jin Horde guild, the H E R D.

Our old website was fine and dandy but needed more maintenance than was necessary considering places like WoWStead offer their services for free, and they're WAY cooler than what we had on our site.

This site makes it much easier to schedule runs (er, once that functionality is updated to allow scheduling of more than just raids), communicate information and stay in touch with fellow guildmates while you're offline (ie: at work and bored!)

Members, please register on wowstead.com as a member of our guild and participate on the forums and poll topics.

NOTE:  This wowstead.com site is in beta test, so some things may not work correctly or be complete (ie: the Schedule).  Give it time, it's already looking damned good.
